Landing Page Design For Traffic You Are Already Paying For

Single purpose pages built backwards from the ad, with the message matched, the tracking live, and the form reaching your CRM before the first click lands.
Komplex designs and builds landing pages from Austin, Texas, with a presence in New York City and Reykjavik. We are a Google Partner, and paid search and paid social run alongside this work. A landing page here starts from the campaign: the search or the audience, the ad, the offer, and what happens after someone converts. The page is built to serve that, then handed to testing. It sits inside our web design and development service and runs most often beside paid search.

A Landing Page Is A Paid Media Asset, Not A Web Design Project

The difference shows up in what gets decided first. A web page starts from the site: the navigation, the brand, the template, the tone the rest of the pages use. A landing page starts from the click. Someone typed something, or saw something in a feed, and arrived expecting a specific thing. Everything on the page either serves that expectation or competes with it. That is why landing pages carry no navigation, one offer, and less of everything else. Built the other way round, from the site inwards, you get a page that looks consistent and converts like a homepage.

The Cheapest Fix Is Almost Always The Form

Before anything else, we count the fields. Eleven fields on a quote form when four would do is the most common thing we find. It is usually there because a sales team asked for information they could get on the call. Second most common is a form that submits successfully and delivers nowhere, or delivers to an inbox nobody has read since somebody left. We test every form with a real submission before launch. A page that converts into a void is worse than one converting nothing at all.
Ask About Your Campaign

What Goes Into A Landing Page That Earns Its Traffic

Eight lines of work, in roughly the order they happen. The last two are where most pages quietly fail.

The Offer

What the visitor gets and what it costs them, in attention or in information. Weak pages usually have a weak offer rather than a weak design.

Message Match

The page repeats the promise in the ad, in language close enough that the visitor knows within a second that they are in the right place.

Structure

One job per page. What comes first, what carries the proof, what the objection is, and where the ask sits, decided before anything is designed.

Copy

Written by the same lead who writes the ads, so the page and the campaign do not sound like two different companies talking.

Design And Build

Fast, clean, and built to be duplicated for the next variant. Built by contract designers and developers we have used for years.

Tracking And Events

Conversions firing correctly into analytics and back into the ad platforms, tested with real submissions rather than assumed from a tag preview.

Form And CRM Handoff

The shortest form the sale can survive, wired into wherever your leads actually live, with the delivery confirmed end to end.

Handoff To Testing

The page ships as a version one with a note on what we would test first. Ongoing testing is conversion rate optimization and it lives there.

Start With The Campaign And The Current Page

Send the ad, the keyword or audience, and where the traffic lands now. Most landing page problems are visible in under an hour.
WHERE THE LINE SITS

Landing Page Design Or Conversion Rate Optimization? They Are Not The Same Purchase.

Agencies blur these two constantly, usually because both sound like better conversion. Here is the line as we draw it, including which one you should probably buy first.

THE PAGES WE BUILD MOST

Lead Generation, Demo Request, Offer, Event, And Local Service Pages

Five shapes, each with a different failure mode. Knowing which one you are building changes almost everything about it.

Lead Generation

A form in exchange for something. Fails on field count and on an offer that is worth less than the information being asked for.

Demo Or Consultation Request

Longer consideration, higher value, and a visitor who wants to know who they will be talking to. Fails when it hides the qualification criteria until the call.

Ecommerce Offer

A product or a promotion with a direct path to checkout. Fails on load speed and on shipping cost appearing three steps later than expected.

Event Or Webinar

Deadline driven, so urgency is real rather than manufactured. Fails when the date, time, and timezone are not visible without scrolling.

Local Service

Someone with a problem right now. Fails when the phone number is not the first thing they see and the service area is not stated plainly.

Which Shape Is Yours?

Tell us what the campaign is selling and what happens after someone converts. That decides the structure.
Ask About The Structure

What Is A Landing Page Design Service?

A landing page design service builds a standalone page for a specific campaign, usually paid search, paid social, or email. The work covers the offer, the structure, the copy, the design and build, conversion tracking, and the connection between the form and wherever leads are handled. A landing page differs from a website page in three ways. It removes the navigation and carries a single call to action. It also matches the ad that sent the visitor rather than the rest of the site.

It also differs from conversion rate optimization, which improves pages that already exist using data those pages have already produced. Landing page design is the build; CRO is the ongoing testing. Komplex runs both from Austin, Texas, with the same senior lead across them. That is why this page tells you which one to buy rather than selling you both.

WHO WE BUILD PAGES FOR

Landing Pages For B2B And Software, Ecommerce, Local Services, And Coaching

The offer changes by sector and so does the shape of the page. Our accounts have covered software, telecom, footwear, skincare, and kitchens and home improvement.
See If We Fit
B2B And Software

Demo and trial pages where the visitor is evaluating several vendors at once. Proof and specificity carry more than persuasion does.

Ecommerce And DTC

Offer and collection pages for paid campaigns, where speed and shipping clarity decide more than any headline.

Local Services

Pages built around a phone call rather than a form, with the service area and availability visible immediately.

Coaching And Education

Application and enrolment pages where qualification matters, because the wrong lead costs more than a missed one.

THE NUMBERS

Why The Page Matters More As The Free Traffic Thins

Three figures about where clicks are going. Each carries its date, because this is the fastest moving part of search right now.
Get A Quote
Around 68 percent of US Google searches ended without a click in the first four months of 2026. The clicks that remain are worth more than they were.
Of the keywords that triggered an AI summary in a 2025 study of 300,000 terms, 99.2 percent were informational rather than commercial.
Commercial searches still show ordinary results and ads, which is why paid traffic and the pages behind it have got more important rather than less.
HOW WE WORK

Offer, Structure, Build, Measure

Four stages and a short calendar. A landing page that takes as long as a website has been overthought.
  • Offer

What the visitor gets, what they give up, and whether that trade is fair. If the offer is weak, we say so before designing around it.

  • Structure

The page as a flat outline: order, proof, objection, ask. Approved before anyone designs, because arguing about a headline is cheaper than arguing about a mockup.

  • Build

Designed, built, and made fast, on your platform or a builder if you already use one. Set up so the next variant is a duplicate rather than a rebuild.

  • Measure

Conversion events tested with real submissions, the form delivery confirmed end to end, and a short note on what we would test first.

PRICING

How We Price Landing Pages

Web and design work is quoted as a fixed fee after a short conversation about what you need, because the scope sets the price. Care plans are billed monthly and sized to the site. Pages are priced individually or as a monthly line inside the paid media work. A campaign needing one page and a campaign needing nine are different jobs. The first page in a set costs the most because it establishes the structure and the template. Variants after that are much cheaper, which is the reason to plan the set rather than commissioning pages one at a time as campaigns come up.
Some specialists in this niche publish a rate per page, which suits a one off order and not much else. For clients running paid media with us, the pages sit as a line inside that work. Page and campaign should not be scoped separately.
Send the campaign and the page it points at now. The free review tells us how many pages the set actually needs, and that is what we price against.

Common Questions About Landing Page Design

How is landing page design different from CRO?

Landing page design builds a page that does not exist yet, for a campaign that is about to run. Conversion rate optimization improves a page that already exists using the data it has already produced. One is a build with a launch; the other is a programme with a rhythm of tests. If you have no page, you need this. If you have a page and traffic, you probably need CRO.

Who writes the landing page copy?

We do, and usually the same lead who writes the ads. Splitting the two is how a page ends up saying something slightly different from the campaign that fed it. Visitors notice within a second, even if they could not tell you why. Where you already have a writer, we hand them the structure to work inside.

What do you build the page on?

Whatever you already use, most often WordPress, Shopify, or Webflow. If you run a dedicated landing page tool such as Unbounce or Instapage, we will build there instead. We would rather add a page to a stack you already manage than introduce a new subscription you have to keep paying for.

Do we own the page and the files?

Yes. The page, the design files, the template, and any account created for the project are yours. We work through access you can remove at any time, and if we part ways the pages keep running and you can duplicate them yourself.

How many landing pages do we need?

Fewer than most agencies will tell you and more than one. A page per meaningfully different offer or audience, not a page per keyword. Building forty near identical pages is how a campaign becomes unmanageable and how the reporting stops meaning anything.

What is message match and why does it matter?

It is the page repeating the promise the ad made, in language close enough that the visitor recognizes it immediately. Someone who clicked an ad about same day installation and lands on a page about your company history has been given a reason to leave. Message match is the cheapest conversion improvement available and most pages fail it.

Do you test the page after launch?

Not as part of a build. The page ships as a version one with a note on what we would test first. A page with no traffic behind it cannot be tested meaningfully. Ongoing testing is conversion rate optimization and it is a separate service with its own rhythm.

How do you set up tracking?

Conversion events configured in analytics and passed back to the ad platforms, then tested with a real submission rather than trusted from a preview. We check that the numbers reconcile between the platform and analytics, because they very often do not and nobody notices until a report looks wrong.

Can you connect the form to our CRM?

Yes, and we test it end to end with a live submission before launch. The most expensive fault we find on existing pages is a form that appears to work, returns a thank you message, and delivers nowhere. That has usually been happening for months.

How fast will the page load?

Fast, because a landing page is one page and there is no excuse. We build without the weight a full site template carries and we check the field data on a phone connection rather than on office wifi. We do not promise a score, because a score on your host with your images is not something we control alone.

How long does a landing page take?

Much less than a website. The offer and the structure take the longest because they need decisions from you; the build itself is short. We work in stages with a date attached to each. The usual delay is approval of the offer rather than anything technical.

How much does a landing page cost?

The first page in a set costs more than the ones that follow, because it sets the structure and the template. Once we know how many pages the campaign actually needs, we set a fixed fee. Clients running paid media with us have the pages sit inside that work instead. Send the campaign and the current page and we will tell you what it would take.

What will you not do?

We will not build a page around an offer we think is weak without saying so first. We will not build forty pages for forty keywords. And we will not promise a conversion rate, because anyone who does is quoting someone else’s campaign back at you.

Do you work with companies outside Austin, Texas?

Yes. Komplex is based in Austin with a presence in New York City and Reykjavik, and this work happens remotely by nature. Campaigns running in more than one language get the page structure planned per market rather than translated after the fact.
